Crimson Space

Our very first group project from a course Game Concept. Crimson Space is a sci-fi horror survival shooter. Where player has to survive with given resources against constant threat of multiplying enemies. Complete a set of missions and find out what really happened in the space station. In the team I worked as the Project Manager and a Producer. I also made this video and logo you are seeing.

Made in Unity

We used Unity engine, and I was managing the workflow with GitHub and Trello, while communicating daily or at least a few times a week in Discord. I used my knowledge from Basics of Game Programming and Advanced Game Programming to build player shooting mechanics. I did not take part in technical work until we started running out of time, as I wanted as member of the Group 7 to gain same experience I had in Preppaamo and Project Finland. To speed up the process we used Unity Asset store Assets.

Workflow

GitHub, Trello and Discord were our tools for the job. I assigned jobs for people and gave everyone a chance to try new things on the project. After some months I took a swing with the technical work on Unity and started blasting!
